Today I have some adorable heart flower cards you can create for Valentine’s Day or any other love-themed occasion. These are not just any flowers, they are 3D heart flowers! And I have a few tips to share for creating the heart flower.

The cards in this video feature products from the Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Bundle. However, keep in mind you can use any heart shapes or supplies you may have on hand.
Creating the Heart Flower
There are three parts to the flower: (1) the Bulb, (2) the Leaves, and (3) the Stem. First, let’s talk about the bulb of the flower which features a 3D pop up heart. Now, the concept for creating the pop up heart card is similar to the ones I shared last week. The only difference is that we are going to use the 3D heart to create a flower on the card. You can learn more about creating the pop up 3D hearts HERE.

The second part of the heart flower we need to create are the leaves. And we are going to create them with a heart shaped stamp image. No special leaf stamp is required! In the video, I show you how to use a heart shaped stamp image to create the leaves. And you can even use a heart punch to cut them out! No fussy cutting for the leaves!
The last part of the heart flower that we need to create is the stem. Since the heartfelt stamp set comes with this fun little arrow image, I will show you how to use that to create the stem. I will also share a little tip with you on creating a curved stem from a straight stamp image.
Be sure to watch the video to see the creation of the flower pieces in action! And, of course, to get a few tips along the way. Get all of the details and watch the video HERE.
Valentine’s Day Card Ideas
Just look how cute the heart flowers are on these cards! There are a variety of different ways you can create the flowers too. You can certainly create the pop up hearts for the bulbs of the flowers. However, you can also create the flower bulb simply by using just one heart shape. It’s doesn’t have to be a 3D heart.
