Hello my friends! Today I want to share a few more birthday card ideas with you. These are what I like to call “Three Panel” cards. They are quick and simple card ideas that you can use with any patterned paper or stamp sets that you have on hand.
The cards feature three different product suite that are coming out in the NEW Stampin’ Up! 2020 Mini Catalog: Birthday Bonanza, Country Club and Birthday Jubilee. Yes, these are the same products I am featuring in my new Birthday Card Making Club.
Creating the Three Panel Card
The stitched rectangular dies work perfect for creating the panels. However, you can easily create them simply by cutting out rectangular shapes with your paper trimmer.

The rectangular shapes measure approximately 1-3/8 x 2-3/4 inches if you are using the die set. If you want to cut them with your paper trimmer you can use the same measurements or simplify it a bit by cutting them at 1-1/2 x 2-3/4 inches. Both sizes will work so choose the dimensions that are easiest for you based on the type of paper trimmer you have.
Three Panel Birthday Card Ideas
Now this three panel card design works well to create cards for any occasion. And, as you can see, you really can use any products you have on hand to make them. Each of the cards feature a different piece of patterned paper as the backdrop for the panels. Simply adhere the panels to the center of the card front and then decorate! Easy peasy!
The first card features the new Birthday Bonanza product suite. This cute little Koala card was inspired by one of the cards featured in the new 2020 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. It’s super cute and definitely my favorite!
The second card features products from the Country Club suite. This card has more of a masculine style to it. You can decorate the panels with some of the fun wood elements and die cuts in the suite.

This last card features the Birthday Jubilee stamp set and some of the pretty papers from the Best Dressed suite. The outside panels feature patterned paper instead of cardstock.
So as you can see, there are lots of possibilities with this card design. So take a look at the supplies you have on hand and get busy creating some of these fun cards!
