Today I have some quick and simple thank you card ideas to share featuring a one sheet wonder template. This template will make it so easy for you to cut up an entire piece of 12 x 12 inch patterned paper to create 9 cards. And the best part is…you will not have any leftover scraps!
In this week’s video, you will learn how to make 9 thank you cards from one 12 x 12 sheet of patterned paper! And I will also give you two different design ideas. That means you can cut up two pieces of 12 x 12 inch patterned paper to create 18 different cards.
One Sheet Wonder Template
Now there are a variety of One Sheet Wonder templates that can be used with a 12 x 12 inch piece of patterned paper. The template that I am sharing with you today is one of my favorites! It’s an easy way to cut up a full sheet of patterned paper to create a lot of quick cards.
And the NEW Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper inspired me to use this template. This patterned paper design fits perfectly on a card front when cut into 5-1/4 x 4 inch sections. Be sure to watch the video to learn some tips for cutting the paper.
Card Design Ideas
Once the patterned paper is cut, you can quickly and easily put together a variety of different cards. You can create 6 cards with the 5-1/4 x 4 inch pieces of patterned paper. You can also create 3 additional cards with the 1-1/2 x 4 inch pieces of patterned paper. Here are the cards created with the patterned paper featured above.
The next set of cards were created with a different piece of patterned paper. The same One Sheet Wonder template was used to cut the paper. However, the cards features a different focal point.
Now the One Sheet Wonder template enables you to create 7 or 9 cards. You can actually use the three small 1-1/2 x 4 inch pieces all on one card. If you do that, you will be able to create 7 cards.
However, you can also use each 1-1/2 x 4 inch piece of patterned paper individually to create 3 different cards. These cards feature the small pattern paper pieces as part of the focal point for the card. The cards also feature the new Peaceful Poppies Elements from the 2020 Stampin Up Mini catalog. The elements have fun little floral and black designs you can use to embellish your cards.
