Today I have some unique card ideas to share with you featuring the Cup of Christmas stamp set and a window sheet! This particular stamp set has some new images called reversibles. Now the Reversibles are stamps that enable you to create a mirror image without all of the fuss!
The Cup of Christmas stamp set has two stamp images that are reversible (1) The Polka Dot mug and (2) the Striped Mug. For these particular cards, I used polka dot mug. Notice how the handle of the stamped mug is on the right for one card and the left for the other. This is the power of the reversibles. You can stamp images using either side of the stamp! How cool is that? Be sure to watch this week’s video to learn more about the reversibles.
Window Sheet Card Ideas
Now besides the cool reversible stamps, I also have some simple window sheet card ideas to share with you today. Window sheets are clear, plastic-like sheets, similar to the transparency papers used in overhead projectors (yes, I am dating myself now).
There are many different uses for window sheets. One of the most popular ways is to create shaker cards. However, you can also use them to create little “windows” on your cards so that you can see through to the inside of the card. For this particular card design, the window sheets also help to stabilize the card front.
