It’s fun to play around with cards that are interactive. You know, the fun fold cards. Well today I have a fun fold card that you can play with forever. It’s endless folding card. Yes, a card that never ends!
In this week’s video, you will learn how to make a never ending card. It’s an endless folding card that just keeps going and going and going. And you will be surprised at how easy it is to make this fun fold card.
Creating the Never Ending Card
You can create two never ending cards from one 8-1/2 x 11 inch piece of cardstock. Cut the cardstock into 4 pieces that measure 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inches. You will use two 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch pieces for each never ending card.
You will cut and score the 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch pieces of cardstock to create the top and bottom layers of the never ending card. I highly recommend that you watch the video as it’s so much easier to understand when you see it in action.
Now there are 4 sections to this Never Ending Card. Each time you open the card, it exposes another section. The various sections of the card are featured above. Opening the very last section of the card will take you right back to the beginning of the card. So basically there is no end to the card, you can continue to open each of the sections as many times as you like!
Decorating the Never Ending Card
Now the interesting thing about this card, besides the fact that it open and opens and opens, is that you can change the look of the card simply by the way in which you decorate it!
So the first card I shared, features the front of the card opening in the middle. I go over this more in the video, but basically I chose these long panels as the front of the card. However, you can create a totally different look by choosing the wide panels as the front of the card (as featured in these pictures above).
In other words, once you create the base of the never ending ending card you can use either side as the front of your card. The card will have a completely different look depending on which side you choose as your card front.
Supply List
The cards featured in this video showcases products from the Stampin’ Up Magnolia Lane suite. But keep in mind that you can use any stamp set or any patterned papers you have on hand to create this fun fold card. Just get creative with it!
