Today I have some cards to share that feature the Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Paper and the Butterfly Gala bundle. Yes, the Butterfly Gala bundle is back! This bundle has been soooo popular that Stampin’ Up! had to turn off the ordering for a bit to catch up with the demand! But now it’s back and I am super excited to share more card ideas with you!
Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Paper
So let’s start by talking about the die cut pieces in the Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Paper. This paper allows you to have die cuts right at your finger tips and you don’t even need an embossing machine! One side of the paper is Petal Pink; the other side is white. The paper has a variety of distinct elements that you can cut out and use for accents pieces.
Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Paper has many uses in card making. The top card features the white side of the laser-cut paper adhered to some patterned paper. The patterned paper peeks through the detailed design for a nice effect. The other card features the pink side of the laser cut paper simply adhered to a white card front and embellished with the beautiful butterfly gala images.
Butterfly Gala Card Ideas
The next set of cards showcase the beautifully detailed laser cut papers sponged with a bit of color and embellished with images from the butterfly gala bundle. Of course you can use any of your favorite stamp sets, colors and embellishments to create these cards!
Daffodil Delight Highland Heather
To make these cards, start with a piece of cardstock cut a 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch piece of cardstock. You can choose any colors for your cards. Score the 8-1/2 inch side at 4-1/4 inches to create the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 3-3/4 inch piece of black cardstock to use as a matte. Now cut a 5 x 3-1/2 inch piece of white cardstock. Sponge some ink in the center of the cardstock (use the same color ink as the cardstock base). Adhere the beautifully detailed die cut on top of the sponged white cardstock. Then simply embellish with the beautiful butterfly gala images.
There are so many fun and simple ways to use these die cuts. Just get creative with it! I hope you enjoyed the little project ideas. Have a creative day ~ Lynn
