Graceful Glass Vellum (2 Simple Cards)

This week’s video features some quick and simple cards created with the Graceful Glass Vellum from Stampin Up! This is a vellum like no other. There are a variety of gorgeous designs which are printed right on the vellum paper. The designs have a shiny raised black embossed pattern on it which gives the appearance of stained glass when you add color!

Graceful Glass Vellum Cards

In this card making tutorial, you will learn how to use stampin’ blends to color the beautiful designs in the Graceful Glass vellum. You can easily create some stunning stained-glass effects with this vellum and your favorite markers!

The Graceful Glass Vellum can be colored with regular markers or with alcohol-based markers, like Stampin’ Blends. I am particularly fond of the Stampin’ Blends because you can color any image without much effort. I always start by coloring in the lighter areas first.  That way if I color outside of the lines I will easily be able to cover it up with the darker color. I love that! In the video, I show you just how easy it is to color in the vellum to create this stunning look!

For another beautiful card idea, check out this post which features the very first card I created with this vellum https://stamptasticdesigns.com/2018/05/14/graceful-glass/

Adhering the Vellum

Besides the fun cards featured in the video, you will also learn a simple tip for adhering the vellum. You actually won’t see the adhesive! This amazing little tip is a game changer! And it will work with any type of vellum, not just the Graceful Glass vellum. So be sure to watch the video!

Although I created some Easter and Spring-Themed cards, remember you can use the tips and ideas featured in the video to create cards for any occasion. Change out the greeting, use some of the other vellum patterns or change the color combinations you use. The possibilities are endless! So have fun and get creative with it!

Have a creative week! Enjoy! ~ Lynn
