Lasting Lily Card Ideas
Now this particular stamp set has a variety of distINKtive stamp images. DistINKtive stamps are deeply etched which means you are able to stamp a finely detailed and shaded image. Just ink up the image and stamp it. That’s it!
These lasting lily card ideas illustrate just how beautiful the distINKtive flower and leaf images are in this set. Besides the beautiful images, there is also a coordinating framelit die set . Yes, that means you don’t have to cut out these beautiful images by hand! The first card features the lilies popped up on a watercolored background. Well, the background is not actually true watercoloring. You can easily create this look of watercoloring with one of the images in the stamp set. But it sure gives the impression of watercoloring, doesn’t it? The second card is similar in design except the colors are different. Simply cut a 5 x 3-3/4 inch piece of white paper, adhere the lily images with a few dimensionals and embellish as desired. The last card features the lilies stamped directly on a rectangular piece of white cardstock.
Lasting Lily – Inspired by the Caddy
The inspiration for this card came directly from the Saleabration catalog. It features the one of the bright and cheery patterned of paper from the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.
To create this card, simply cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of the Gingham Gala DSP and a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock. Cut a 2-1/2 inch circle (using a die) from the upper part of the DSP. Lay the DSP on the white cardstock and use a pencil to mark the placement of the top of the stems so they will appear in the circle when you stamp them. Stamp the stems using Old Olive ink, directly onto the white cardstock. Stamp the lily images on a scrap piece of white paper, using Grapefruit Grove ink, and cut them out with the coordinating framelit set. Adhere the lilies with a few dimensionals. Then simply embellish as desired and adhere to the card front.
Hope you enjoyed these 4 card ideas! Have a creative week! ~ Lynn
