When you hear the term “clean and simple” cards, what comes to your mind?
Maybe a card that involves just stamping, no layers. Or maybe you thought of a card with one or two layers. The concept of clean and simple cards does involve minimal layering or no layering at all. However, this style of card will also have lots of “white” space (open space). That’s what gives it the “clean” look.
Clean and Simple Cards
In this week’s video, I have a variety of different clean and simple card designs to share. In fact, you will learn how to take a clean and simple card design and step it up to create 3 additional cards. One card, 4 ways!
Each card design will be a slight variation of the previous one and we will step it up by adding additional layers. We will start with a simple card, no layers involved, and then step it up by adding one layer and then two layers.
One Card 4 Ways
The step it up technique helps you take that same card design and, with a few modifications, step it up to create a variety of cards from one simple design!
These clean and simple cards feature the Vibrant Vases stamp set as well as the Rectangular Stitched Framelit dies from Stampin’ Up! These are just a few of the fun new products in the 2019 Occasions catalog. Don’t have the framelit dies? No worries! I provide all of the measurements for these shapes in the video so you can easily cut out them out on your paper trimmer.
Keep in mind that you can use ANY stamp set or supplies that you have on hand. In the video, I share some tips on creating clean and simple cards as well as how to step up your designs to create even more cards!
