Coming up with masculine card ideas can sometimes be a struggle, right? Well, today I have two fun fold tuxedo card ideas to share that you can make with any supplies that you have on hand. No special stamp set, no fancy tools. All you really need is some cardstock!
Yes, you can use any stamps, shapes or embellishments to decorate the tuxedo card. So look around your craft room. I bet you can come up with a variety of different supplies to help you decorate these cards. Just get creative with it!
Tuxedo Card Idea #1 – Simple Fold
The first tuxedo card idea I want to share with you is a quick and simple one. One of the fun things about this particular card design is that you can create a tuxedo, like this one, or a regular masculine style shirt. Just change out the cardstock colors and add some masculine patterned papers for a fun look.
This is one of my favorite type of masculine style cards to make because of the simplicity of it. This is a standard card size too as it measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches when closed. Just one simple fold on the card front creates the illusion of a tuxedo or shirt collar.

Tuxedo Card Idea #2 – Gate Fold
The second fun fold masculine card idea I want to share with you is a design that you are probably familiar with. It’s a gatefold card! Yes, you can create a tuxedo (or a shirt card) using the gatefold card design. Simply fold the top part of the gatefold “flaps” back to create the collar. Pretty cool right?

You’re welcome Marie
Do you have something for a T Shirt kind of guy? This would be cool & smart looking, for my husband who is always in t-shirts, except when we go out, he dresses in a dress shirt. But I like the t-shirt idea better. Any ideas or patterns?

Marie Clouser
Hi Marie, you can use this design to create a shirt card instead of a tuxedo. Just change out the paper colors. I also have another shirt card idea you could use. You can find it at this link https://stamptasticdesigns.com/2018/10/28/how-to-make-a-shirt-card/
