Lovely Lattice Stamp Set ~ NEW in 2019

The new year is right around the corner! And you know what that means?!? It’s almost time for the 2019 Sale-A-Bration (SAB) to start and, of course, the launch of the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog!

Not sure what Sale-A-Bration is?  Well it’s Stampin’ Up’s BIGGEST sale of the year! It is my absolute favorite time of the year because it involves FREE stuff! For every $50 you spend, you can choose an item from the SAB catalog for FREE!

So today I want to share some projects created with a new Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Lovely Lattice.  This particular stamp set is one of the FREE sets you can earn during Sale-A-Bration! Don’t have a catalog?  I would be happy to send you one! You can request copies of the current Stampin’ Up! catalogs HERE.

Lovely Lattice

This first project showcases how to use the new Lovely Lattice stamp with your markers or, in this case, with Stampin’ Blends (alcohol-based markers). The Stampin’ Blends make coloring and shading simple! They are so easy to use and the colors are so vibrant.

The fun checkered paper in the background is a new pack of Gingham paper coming out in the Occasions catalog. There are 5 different colors in the pack. Absolutely beautiful papers that make me think of Spring. What you probably can’t see too well in this picture is the new rectangular stitched shapes framelits!  Yay! I used them to cut out the white cardstock and to cut out the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Let’s talk a little bit about how to color the Lovely Lattice image. There are a variety of different color combinations that you can use. For this card, I used the Highland Heather and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend markers. Oh, and a bit of Daffodil Delight in the center of each flower. The shading was accomplished used the light and dark Stampin’ Blend markers that come in the combo pack.

Lovely Lattice – Neutral Colors

Since I am a vintage girl at heart, this next project showcases the Lovely Lattice image on a neutral background and a little bit of coloring with some white pencils.

  1. Your cards are wonderful. The Vintage Lovely Lattice took my breath away. It’s gorgeous. I am wondering what the die-cut lacy background is–a border punch or full-card die? I’ll have to do a search. Thank you for sharing these.

    • Thank you Daria. So happy to hear you enjoyed the cards. The lacy background is a new lace embossing from Stampin Up. It’s a gorgeous embossing folder

  2. You make very pretty cards. Thank you for the inspiration. Enjoyed seeing the products being used.

  3. These cards are so pretty. I love the stamp set and the gingham paper. I am still hoarding several rolls of the retired gingham ribbon.

    • Thanks so much Laurie. The gingham paper colors are so pretty. Oh and I still have a few rolls of that ribbon too.
