Layering the Christmas Trees

This paper folding technique will enable you to create a variety of different sized trees. The more layers you create, the larger the tree becomes.

To create the Christmas trees, in different sizes, simply cut squares that differ in size. The Christmas Tree with two Layers requires the use of two squares measuring 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 and 1-3/4 x 1-3/4. The Christmas Tree with three layers requires the use of an additional square measuring 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 inches. And, likewise, the Christmas Tree with 4 layers requires an additional square measuring 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 inches.  The more squares you create, the larger the tree. The key to creating the different layers of the tree is to ensure that each square is a 1/2 inch larger than the one you will be layering it with.

You will understand the concept better by watching this week’s video. A printable tutorial is available as well! You can watch the video and grab the tutorial at >>> https://youtu.be/eUnXunTxXYc
