Happy World Card Making Day!
Today is a day of celebration! A day filled with fun handmade cards. I spent a little time researching the origin of World Card Making Day. Did you know that it was started in 2006 by Paper Craft Magazine? It was! World Card Making Day occurs every year on the first Saturday in October. It began as a way to encourage us to get a jump start on card making for the holiday season. Pretty cool, hey?
One of the best way to celebrate World Card Making Day is, of course, to make some cards! Join a class, gather your friends, or get into your craft room today. Make some cards to celebrate! Today I am working on a few Christmas cards that I will share with you later this week! I also thought it would be fun to hold a special card making event to celebrate World Card Making Day!
World Card Making Day Special
Join this month’s Country Lane class on October 6th or 7th and you will receive 4 additional cards in your class kit (2 of each of these Christmas designs featured above)! The Christmas cards showcase the Winter Woods Bundle but you don’t need the bundle to make the cards that will come in your kit. You will just need one of your favorite Christmas sentiments and your ink to make them.
Join the Country Lane card class this weekend and receive a card kit that contains all of the materials you need to make 12 cards! That’s 4 bonus cards to help you celebrate World Card Making Day!
Plus you can also grab a few card making goodies at discounted prices this week! Check out the sale flyer here
