Today’s project showcases a variety of products from the Stampin’ Up! Country Lane Suite. The Country home stamp set, the beautiful images in the designer paper, the contemporary colors and the gorgeous Tin Tile embossing folder all create the peaceful feeling of country living.
This is a fabulous suite of products that you can use to share your gratitude and celebrate life’s blessings. Handmade cards are a wonderful way to do that.
To make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of the blackberry bliss patterned paper from the Country Lane DSP pack and adhere to the card front. Cut a 3 x 5-1/4 inch piece of the Galvanized Metallic Paper and emboss it with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder. Randomly sponge a bit of Blackberry Bliss, Moss Meadow and Crushed Curry on the embossed paper. Adhere to the card front as shown. Cut a 3/4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of one of the Country Lane DSP patterns and adhere it across the bottom of the embossed paper. Cut a 3/4 x 3-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock, stamp a sentiment on it, snip the left side into a little banner and adhere to the DSP as shown. To create the milk can, stamp the image on a scrap piece of white cardstock using Smokey Slate ink. Color in the milk can using Stampin’ Blends of simply sponge some color on it. Cut out the milk can by hand and adhere to the card as shown. For the finishing touch, embellish with a few little sequins.
