Today I want to share a couple of quick and simple card ideas featuring a brand new stamp set from the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. The stamp set is called Wishing You Well. It has some wonderful sentiments that you can use to send well wishes, thoughts and prayers, and even a little note.
So you are probably wondering why this stamp set would be in the holiday catalog, right? The cool thing about this stamp set is that the images can be used for the upcoming Christmas holiday as well as for other occasions. I put together two different cards to show you how versatile this set is.
This first card is just clean and simple. No layers, just stamping. Of course I did embellish it a bit with a few adhesive backed sequins. The colors used on this card are Granny Apple Green and Tranquil Tide. It’s a very simple yet absolutely beautiful card.
The next card I created was a Christmas card. Using the bow and seasons greeting images from the set. I randomly stamped the bow images using Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler. This time I added just a 1 x 4-1/4 inch strip of white cardstock matted with a 1-1/4 x 4-1/4 inch piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock. I stamped the little seasons greeting image on the white cardstock, tied a little bow around it and adhered it across the top of the card front. The bow images make a beautiful background for the card.
The Wishing You Well set also comes with a beautiful wreath image that you can use to create Christmas cards or thinking of you cards. I love the idea of having a stamp set that you can use for several different occasions. You will enjoy the versatility of this set.
