In this card making tutorial, you will learn how to create some super cute cards featuring the Stampin Up Varied Vases stamp set. You will also learn a few tips for using the vases builder punch. If you love flowers, you are going to love these card making ideas!
You can create simply beautiful cards with this set. The set comes with 34 different stamp images! You have outline stamps and solid stamps! First stamp the outline image of the flower and then easily “color” in the flowers with the coordinating solid image. It’s super fun and there are so many possibilities! Let me tell you a little bit about some of the cards I created with this set.
This first card showcases one of the Varied Vases images as the focal point on the card. The base of the card was created with a piece of basic black cardstock which I matted out by adding a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock. For a little added touch, I embossed the Daffodil Delight cardstock with the Lovely Floral embossing folder. To create the focal point, simply use different sized ovals (or any other shape) layered together. For this particular card, I layered together a stitched oval and a black scalloped oval. All of the stamping was done on the stitched oval. Plus there is a coordinating punch that goes with this stamp set. I simply punched out the vase using a piece of the polka dot pattern from the Brights DSP pack. Super fun and very easy to create!
The next card I created is one that I shared during a live session on my Facebook page. If you didn’t catch the session, I did record it and uploaded it to my YouTube channel. In the video, I show you a neat little trick for using the Vase Builder punch so be sure to check it out!
Here is the complete supply list! I hope you enjoyed the projects! Have fun getting creative!
