Hello Crafty Friends! Today I have another card idea to share showcasing the Serene Garden stamp set. The images in this set are so versatile enabling you to create a card for any occasion. Today I am sharing a sympathy card but I have also used this set to create beautiful birthday cards and wedding cards.
So let’s talk about how to make this card. Start with a piece of Whisper White cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss the card front with the layered leaves embossing folder or any other embossing folder of your chosing. Cut a 2-3/4 x 4 inch piece of Whisper White cardstock and a 3 x 4-1/4 inch piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock; the Daffodil Delight piece will be the matte behind your stamped images. Stamp the flower images on the white cardstock using versa mark, sprinkle the images with silver embossing powder, tap off the excess and heat to set. Repeat this embossing process with the sentiment and bird images (just stamp the images on a scrap piece of white cardstock so that you can cut them out with the coordinating framelits). Use the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend markers to color the flowers. Cut out the embossed sentiment with one of the new Stitched Label Framelits or any other shape that you prefer. Assemble the card as shown. Use dimensionals to pop up the images and sentiment on the card.
