May Good Things Grow

May good things grow! And with this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit, they sure did!  The kit included all vintage style cards and envelopes! Plus there were some fun wooden embellishments that we received as a gift this month. Such a perfect kit to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of Paper Pumpkin!
Look at these absolutely beautiful patterns and images! I love vintage so I was super excited when I opened up the kit and saw all of beautiful card and envelope ideas. There were a total of 8 cards with 8 vintage style envelopes. The envelopes were just too pretty to simply use as envelopes especially with the scalloped circle top. I actually cut all of the envelopes apart and made them into cards. Since the envelopes were created with double sided paper, I simply folded the scalloped circle top backwards, on top of the rose pattern, to create this elegant look.
Here are a few of the cards created with the envelopes and other kit materials. I simply added my own cardstock to create the the base of the cards.

Of course, I always have to play around with the exclusive stamp set that comes in every kit!  Here are a few of the cards I created with the stamps:
