Springtime Foil

A few days ago I shared some beautiful cards created with the new Springtime Foil designer paper during a live session on Facebook. As promised, I want to share a bit more information about the projects with you today. The Springtime Foil Designer Series Paper is one of the new Saleabration items that was part of the second release.  It is absolutely gorgeous paper. So let’s take a look at some projects created with these beautiful foils!

Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of the Springtime Foil DSP. Color the flowers with a pool party marker. Embellish with a sentiment.

Cut two 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of the springtime foil paper and run it across a Smoky Slate card base. Cut out some flowers, from a piece of the DSP, by hand and use them to embellish the card.

Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of the flower pattern from the Springtime Foil DSP pack. Cut two3/4 x 4 inch pieces of the polka dot pattern. Adhere to the card front as shown. Color in the flowers with Calypso Coral and Old Olive markers or Stampin’ Blends. Embellish with a sentiment.

Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of the leaf pattern in the Springtime DSP pack. Cut out some flowers, from the DSP, by hand and use them to embellish the card. The sentiment is cut from Copper Foil paper with the Celebrate You thinlits.

I am just so in love with this designer paper. As you can see, there are so many fun ways to use it! You can color it with markers, stampin’ blends, blender pens or any other coloring tools. You can also simply use it as is. The beautiful embossed images on this paper makes it so easy to create quick and simple cards.  The last card I want to share with you is one that I created simply by sponging a bit of color in the background. Then I stepped it up by adding a “pop” of color.

Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of the flower patterned Springtime Foil paper. Sponge a bit of Peekaboo Peach ink in the center. Embellish with ribbon and a sentiment.

Using the same card on the left, I simply added a “pop” of color with some hand cut flowers from the DSP. The flowers are colored with Calypso Coral and Old Olive ink.
