Swapping cards is one of my favorite stampy activities! Not familiar with a card swap? It basically consists of designing a card and make multiples of that card to send to each person in the swap group. Each person in the group also designs a card, making multiples to send one to every participant. So if there are 12 people in the swap, including yourself, you would make 11 cards, the same design, and send one to each person. You could make 12 and keep one for yourself too. In return, you will receive a card from each of the 11 participants. It’s super fun!
Card swaps are a great way to get your creative juices flowing! I currently participate in a monthly swap with members of my team. Everyone on the team is welcome to participate in the swap but they are not required to. Each month we have a different swap theme. I love getting happy mail every month. So many fun ideas and such a talented group!
Here are a few pics from the last two swaps.
December was a Thank You card theme. Each of us received a thank you card design from everyone that participated. There were 12 people that participated in the swap that month. The 11 cards showcased here are the ones that I received. It was a lot of fun to receive cards in the mail all month long!
These cards were created for the January swap. I’m sure you can tell what the theme was…of course it was a Love/Valentine theme. The 10 cards that are showcases here were all of the awesome cards I received! It’s so fun to see what everyone comes up with. The cards are always so different. I love the variety!
Cards swaps are a common activity among demonstrators because we just love to create and share our ideas. And of course we are always looking for ideas as well! Just one of the many benefits of becoming a demonstrator! And now is a great time to join! During Sale-a-bration, new demonstrators get more perks in their starter kit!

I would love to be apart of a card swap. I haven’t done one in a really long time
Hi Tammy, they are a lot of fun! Are you currently a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? The reason I ask is that there are not too many non-demonstrator swap groups. I have heard of a few but they did not last very long. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a demonstrator, let me know. I’m happy to help get you started!
