Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! If you need some last minute Valentine’s Day card making ideas then you have come to the right place. I have a few quick and simple ideas that you can put together in a snap! These little cards will help you spread the love this Valentine’s Day.
All of these little love notes were created using little note cards measuring 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches. However, you can adjust the designs to fit any sized cards that you have on hand. Just add a few more hearts to create a larger sized card. So the first card, pictured above, was created with the Heart Happiness stamp set. The concept is simple…grab a few different colored inks and stamp different shaped hearts right down the center of the card. It’s a fun way to use your heart stamps. For the finishing touch, add a “love” sentiment cut from some gold glimmer paper. You could also use the sentiments in the Painted with Love gold vinyl sticker pack.
This next card showcases a fun way to use your patterned papers and stamp sets. Simply cut out three different sized hearts. Cut the larger heart from a piece of designer paper. Cut the other hearts from cardstock. You can use your punches or die cuts to create the hearts. Then simply layers the hearts together to create a fun look!
For this next project, I used the stamp images in the Sure Do Love You stamp set. The set has a beautiful heart image that you can use as a “frame” for other stamped images. The card showcases a fun way to use small and large heart shaped images.
This final project showcases a fun way to use up your pretty patterned papers. Since I used little note cards, I cut my patterned paper at 2 x 4 inches. If you are using a larger sized card, just adjust your measurements so the patterned paper is a 1/2 inch smaller than the size of the card front. Then simply add a sentiment and embellish it with a little gold heart cut from some glimmer paper.
