Good Morning and Happy Friday! Hope you had a wonderful week! Today I want to share a quick and simple masculine card idea with you. It’s not always easy to come with masculine card ideas but you will love the simplicity of this one.
To make this card, I started with one of the card based from the Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I know the name Tutti Frutti doesn’t sound very masculine, right? Well this card and envelope pack is absolutely awesome and works perfect for creating any type of cards including masculine style! It comes with 16 pre-printed cards bases, 4 different designs. And…the best part is…the cards are FREE with a $50 order! It’s an awesome Sale-a-bration item!
So for this card, I used the yellow patterned Tutti Frutti card base and paired it up with some masculine patterned papers in the True Gentlemen suite. Start by cutting a 5-1/2 x 2 inch piece of the blue patterned paper from the True Gentlemen Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Cut a piece of the “bow” patterned paper from the True Gentlement DSP pack that measures 5-1/2 inch long and approximately 3/4-1 inch wide. Basically you want to cut in between the pattern of bows on the DSP so that you have a clean strip of bows to adhere on the card as shown. Once you adhere the DSP across the card front, wrap a bit of linen thread around the card and tie on a little button. Stamp a sentiment on a scrap piece of vanilla cardstock and punch it out using the Tailored Tag shape. Add the sentiment to the card as shown. To make it super simple, just leave off the button and linen thread.
