It’s Sale-a-bration time and the launch of the 2018 Occasion Catalog! WAHOO! I have several fun projects that I want to share with you today to kick off the event! It was hard to decide what to share with you first as there are so many amazing products in the new catalogs! So for today, I will showcase some projects featuring the Sweet Soiree Suite in the new 2018 Occasions Catalog.
This suite of products caught my eye right away because of the beautiful designs, fabulous colors and amazing images. I love the elegance of all of the products in the suite. The projects showcased here were created with the Sweet Soiree Designer Paper and Embellishment kit. Even though I am only showcasing 4 projects today, I actually created 16 different projects with just one embellishment kit! All of the projects are absolutely gorgeous and, of course, I will share them with you throughout the next several weeks.
One of the things I was super excited about was the use of the color Marina Mist. This is one of those Stampin’ Up! colors that I just haven’t used in awhile so to see it as part of a product suite was exciting to me! Sometimes it’s the little things like this that make me happy. So the first thing I did was put together 4 different projects using that color. The card showcased above features simple layering of embellishments. I used some from the Sweet Soiree kit and some others that I had on hand. It has a fun and elegant look.
This second card features the new designer paper and embellishments from the kit. Start with a piece of Marina Mist cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of the pretty blue patterned paper from the Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper Pack and adhere to the card front. The focal point of the card is a 2-3/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock stamped with a sentiment from the Cake Soiree set and embellished with items from the kit. Super simple yet very pretty!
This last card design was inspired by one of the projects in the new catalog. I simply changed out the colors and added some different embellishments. The designer paper pieces are cut at 2 x 4 inches and simply layered together. The sentiment is stamped on a 1 x 3-1/4 inch piece of white cardstock. The card is embellished with items from the Sweet Soiree kit and a few others I had on hand.
The final project is a little coordinating gift box that can be used with any of the card ideas I just shared. This adorable little box features the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit and the Silver Mini Gable Boxes. The boxes come in a pack of 12 and are already cut, scored and ready to assemble. It makes it so easy to create pretty little packages!
