Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Hope you had a fabulous weekend! Today I have a quick and simple project to share! This particular project showcases a beautiful host set called Tranquil Tulips. What is a host set? Well, it’s a set that is only available to purchase with Stampin’ Rewards (or Host Benefits). You can earn benefits from hosting a party or with any order that reach $150 or more! For more information on Stampin’ Rewards, refer to page 219 in the Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog.
This card is quite simple to create! Start with a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Pear Pizzazz; this piece will serve as a matte. Then cut a 5 x 3-3/4 inch piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the flower stems and leaves on the card, as shown, using Pear Pizzazz ink. Stamp the tulips using Daffodil Delight and Berry Burst inks. Since the tulip is a two-step stamp, there are two different images used to create each flower. You can use the same color ink with these stamps and still obtain the contrast you see on the card. If you would like a bolder contrast, simply two different shades of the same color to create the flower!
Stamp a little sentiment on the card. For the finishing touch, embellish with some pearls.
