Hello Stampin’ Friends! It’s been a busy couple of days around here as I try to prepare for a 50th Wedding Anniversary for my parents! Lots of things to do before next weekend! But in between all of the party planning, I have been doing a bit of crafting! In particular, I just can’t seem to put down the new embossing paste! I am absolutely hooked! As soon as I saw this new product, my mind immediately went to the dragonfly. I knew it would look amazing with a brick wall textured background. And it does!
You might have also noticed that I did a bit of sponging in the background of the brick wall. The sponging really highlighted the brick wall and gives it a bit of a worn or vintage style look. The embossing paste is super simple to use. There are a variety of different decorative mask, stencils and even detailed thinlit patterns that you can use to create some fun textured backgrounds for your projects. I really love that the embossing paste dries quickly too….within minutes!
You will love the realistic texture and look you get with the embossing paste. For this particular card, I simply spread the embossing paste on an angle across the decorative mask, sponged it with a bit of soft suede ink and embellished the center of the brick wall with a fun sprays of greens and the dragonfly.
