Color Theory ~ Memories & More

Hello Stampin’ Friends!  I apologize for being away for so long!  Time gets away from you when you are playing with new catalog products! Haha! In all seriousness, I have been suffering with a rotator cuff injury so, unfortunately, I haven’t been able to do much typing. I can do stamping though!  It’s a good thing it hasn’t affected my stamping arm 🙂

Happy New Catalog launch! We are already 3 days into the new catalog! And I am super excited!  Today I want to share a few projects with you that I created with some cards from the NEW Memories & More product line.  This product line was developed for use with Stampin’ Up’s memory keeping products…a new age scrapbooking idea.  However, being a cardmaker, the first thing I thought of was how fun it would be to use the Memories & More Card packs to create…well, cards of course!

The great thing about these card packs is that they are already pre-cut and ready to use. And for cardmakers, the pre-cut cards fit perfectly on a standard 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch size card! Some of the Memories & More Cards have images printed on them while others are have pretty patterns.  To create the card showcased above, I simply used one of the patterned cards in the pack and stamped some fun images on it from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. For the finishing touch, I added a bit of ribbon to embellish.

This card was so simple to create!  The only thing I stamped was the “thinking of you” sentiment. Everything else was pre-printed on the Color Theory Memories & More cards.  How simple and fun is that?  And I just love the colors and patterns. Everything in this particular card pack coordinates with the products in the Color Theory Suite!  Soooo many possibilities!  Soooo little time! The Memories & More Card packs make it so easy to get creative! Enjoy!

  1. Beautiful cards, this set is on my wish list. Hope your shoulder is better soon. Too much gardening, lol

    • Thank you Kathy. You are correct…I believe my gardening episode caused my issue. I should have stuck to cardmaking lol
