This week I am sharing a few fun projects I created with products from the Eastern Palace suite. One of the products in this suite is a package of gold stickers…yes, stickers. I have to say that I was not too excited about stickers, that is, until I saw them. These stickers are gold and they are absolutely stunning. They also have a great adhesive that doesn’t peel or lift up. I typically don’t use stickers but these are so elegant and a great accent for any project! Let’s take a closer look at a project I created with a variety of stickers that came in the bundle.
To make this card, start with a piece of the new Fresh Fig cardstock as the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. I placed the large circular sticker on the right hand side of the white cardstock before cutting out the beautiful medallion image on my big shot. By doing this, I ended up with a pretty gold outline for the die cut image plus a little bit of gold within the image. I also used some of the stickers on the left hand side of the cardstock to create a pretty gold border. And, of course, for the finishing touch, I used a gold flower sticker on a piece of Dapper Denim cardstock to create the flowery embellishment for the card. The rest of the card contains all different stamped images from the Eastern Beauty stamp set.
