The month of May seems to be flying by! Which is very exciting because it brings us that much closer to June 1st and the start of the new Stampin’ Up! catalog! WooHoo! This year, Stampin Up gave us a sneak peek of one of the fabulous product suites that will be in the new catalog….plus, they gave us the opportunity to purchase a bundle of products from the new this suite before it launches in June! The product suite is called Eastern Palace and it’s absolutely stunning! Here’s one of the very first projects that I created with it!
The card not only showcases the new Eastern Palace products but it also showcases two of the brand new In Colors: Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig. The card is quite simple to create! I started with a piece of Dapper Denim cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Using one of the new Eastern Palace die cuts, from the bundle, I cut out the fancy little circle on the right hand side of the card. Then simply stamped a variety of small images around the intricate die cut. The die cuts the image right into the cardstock so the Dapper Denim color cardstock, that I used for the base of the card, shows right through. How fun, hey? Then I cut a few 1 x4 inch pieces of the new design paper from and adhered it to the left side of the card. For the finishing touch, I placed a gold flower sticker on a piece of Fresh Fig cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating framelit. Simply beautiful and so much fun to play with!
