Hello Stampin’ Friends! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today I have a fun masculine themed card to share with all of you. I have a lot of “handy” men in my family so I wanted to design something different for them. I have seen a few tool box card ideas on Pinterest and thought it would be fun to create one!
This card is easier to create than it looks! I promise! To make This card, start with a piece of Real Red cardstock for the base of your card. Take the Classic Label punch and use it to make a groove across the bottom of the card. Cut a 1 x 4, 1-1/2 x 4 and 2 x 4 inch piece of Real Red cardstock. Emboss each of the pieces with the sparkle textured embossing folder (or if you have a diamond plate embossing folder that would be perfect)! These pieces will be the drawers for the tool box. Cut three (3) 1/2 x 4 inch pieces of black cardstock and adhere them to the top of each drawer using a bit of SNAIL or other adhesive. Using the Nailed It Bundle, stamp a variety of tools and a sentiment on a piece of silver foil paper or cardstock. Note: You will need to use black Staz-On ink to stamp on the silver foil. Cut all of the tools and sentiment out using the Builder Framelits. Set aside until you assemble the cart and drawers. Punch out two 3/4 inch circles from black cardstock and adhere to the bottom of the card (these will serve as your wheels). Use the left over silver pieces (from cutting out the nut) as the center for your wheels. You will have to cut out an extra one so you have a center for both wheels. Adhere the wheels to the card before you add the drawers. Add dimensionals to the back of each of the drawers and adhere them to the card front starting at the top with the smallest drawer and working your way to the bottom. The bottom drawer will overlap onto the wheels. Now, randomly adhere the tools to the tool box using glue dots. That’s it! Enjoy!
