Hello Stampin’ Friends! Are you having a fun crafty week? Today I have a fun little project that is sure to get you in the craftin’ mood! It showcases the Sealed with Love stamp set and the Love Notes framelit dies. Although Valentine’s Day has come and gone, this bundle of products is fun to use all year long! It can be used for all sorts of love themed events like anniversaries or weddings. It can also be used to send a little love note to someone…just because.
To make this card, start with a piece of Whisper White cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 4 x 4 inch piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock and emboss it with the Falling Hearts embossing folder. Adhere this piece to the top part of your white card front. Cut two 3/4 x 4 inch pieces of your favorite designer series paper. For this card, I used some of the Sending Love Designer Series Paper (DSP). Adhere the strips of DSP across the bottom part of the 4 x 4 embossed pink piece. Slightly overlap the pieces. Cut out two little love note envelopes using the framelit and the DSP. The framelit cuts and scores the envelopes which makes it super simple to put together. Stamp the “Love Notes” and a set of hearts on a scrap piece of white cardstock, cut them out with the coordinating framelit and tuck one in each envelope. Adhere the envelopes to the card front as shown. Glue dots work perfect for putting the envelopes together. For the finishing touch, embellish with a few wooden hearts from the Sending Love Embellishments. Enjoy!
