Hello Stampin’ Friends! I have Spring on my mind and Winter in my yard. Yep, we got a few inches of snow here in Wisconsin today. Good thing I can enjoy a bit Spring in my craft room! Today I have a fun little card to share that showcases the May Flower framelits and the Falling Flowers stamp set. The perfect spring-time card 🙂
To make this card, start with a piece of So Saffron cardstock for the base of the card. Emboss the card front with the Petal Burst embossing folder. Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of one of the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper pattern and sponge some Pear Pizzazz ink in the center. The paper pack has a variety of floral designs that you can use to re-create this card. I happened to use some retired paper for this card 🙂 Stamp the large flower on a piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock (using Tangerine Tango ink) and cut it out with the coordinating framelit. Repeat this process for the smaller flowers using So Saffron and for the leaves use Pear Pizzazz. Cut everything out and arrange it on your card front as shown. Cut a little 1/2 x 3-1/2 inch strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock, stamp a sentiment on it and adhere to the card as shown. For the finishing touch, embellish with a few pearls. Enjoy!
