Hello Stampin’ Friends! Hope you had a great start to your week! Today I want to share a vintage style project with all of you! The little bouquet of flowers in the Avant Garden set coupled with the vintage style papers in the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP pack work perfectly together, would you agree?
To make this card, start with a piece of So Saffron cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Early Espresso cardstock. Cut a 5-1/4 x 2 inch piece of the yellow patterned paper from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP pack and adhere it across the center of the card. Cut two piece of the Very Vanilla Lace Trim about 6 inch long and run a piece across the top and the bottom of the DSP; secure the ends to the back of the Early Espresso cardstock. Sponge some Crumb Cake ink all over a Delicate White Doily and adhere the doily in the center of the DSP. Cut an oval, from a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, with one of the stitched framelits (it measures approximately 2-3/4 inches tall). Stamp the bouquet of flowers onto the vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Color in the flowers with the watercolor pencils or markers. Cut a scalloped oval from Early Espresso cardstock. Adhere to the Very Vanills oval and secure to the doily with a few dimensionals. Stamp a sentiment on a 1/2 x 3 inch piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and adhere to the oval as shown. For the finishing touch, embellish with a bit of lace trim tied in a knot. Enjoy!
