Hello Stampin’ Friends! Did you have a good weekend? AI sure did! This weekend I was blessed to have the opportunity to spend some time with my mom. We crafted on Saturday and Sunday! I love spending quality time with her! And we had a blast! Look at all of the beautiful cards we made! 🙂
How cool is that? We created with a little bit of “old” (retired) products and a little bit of the new (current) catalog products! Now many of these cards I have shared with you in other posts on this website. However, there was one particular project that was brand new…and that’s the card right in the front of the pic created with the Wetlands stamp ste! Let’s take a look at how to create it!
To make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 3 x 3 inch piece of the Serene Scenery Designer Paper that looks like a beach or water. Place a dab of adhesive on the back of this 3 x 3 piece and stick it to the middle of the white card front (just use a little bit of tape so that you can easily remove it). Stamp the sandpiper image across the card and the serene scenery paper using black ink. Once you have stamped the image all the way across the card, carefully peel it off the card front. Cut a 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 inch piece of pool party cardstock; adhere the serene scenery piece (with the stamped images) onto the pool party cardstock. Then adhere to the card; be sure to line up the images. For the finishing touch, stamp a little sentiment on the bottom! Enjoy!
