Hello Stampin’ Friends! Today I have a quick and simple card idea to share that showcases the Lovely as a Tree stamp set! This particular stamp set has been around for quite a long time! It is one of my favorite sets as it has such beautiful tree images.
To make this card, start with a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Very Vanilla cardstock for the inside of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Old Olive cardstock for the front of the card (this is the piece you will do your stamping on). Stamp the tree images across the Old Olive cardstock, as shown, using Old Olive ink. Grab the your favorite washi tape (or you can use some patterned paper as well). I used some retired washi tape for this particular card. Run three (3) different patterns of washi tape across the bottom of the card. Wrap a piece of Baker’s Twine or Linen Thread twice around the cardstock in area with the Washi Tape and tie a knot; then tie a little bow. Adhere the old olive cardstock to the front of your Cajun Craze card base. For the finishing touch, stamp a little sentiment on a scrap piece of very vanilla cardstock, using Cajun Craze ink and punch out the sentiment with the decorative label.
