Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Today I have a pretty little Christmas project to share with all of you that showcases the Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Christmas Pines stamp set. The DSP pack has a few non-traditional green colors in it like Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron. I am so use to creating Christmas cards with Garden Green or Old Olive that I wasn’t sure I would like these new colors together. But I do! The Presents & Pinecones DSP is one of several different DSP packs that are on sale for the month of October! So if you like it, hop on over to my website take advantage of the Buy 3 get 1 FREE sale going on right now. You can mix and match a variety of DSP packs! To make this card, start with a piece of Emerald Envy cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 4 x 4-1/4 inch piece of one of the pinecone patterns in the Presents & Pinecones DSP pack. Adhere this piece to the center of your card front as shown. Cut two 4-1/2 inch strips of some red ribbon and lay it across the DSP as shown. Cut a 2-1/2 x 2-3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and stamp a little sentiment on the bottom using Cherry Cobbler ink. Cut a 2-3/4 x 3 inch piece of Early Espresso cardstock; matte the white cardstock onto the early espresso piece. Adhere this piece to the center of your card front (over the top of the ribbon) using a few dimensionals. Grab the Pretty Pines Thinlits and your Big Shot embossing machine. Cut out some pine branches using Emerald Envy cardstock. Cut out a pine cone with Early Espresso cardstock and add a solid pinecone behind it cut from some copper foil paper. Adhere these pieces to the upper left hand corner of your project. For the finishing touch, embellish with a little bow cut from some Cherry Cobbler cardstock; secure with a glue dot. Enjoy!
