Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Today I have another Star of Light Christmas card idea for you. As I mentioned the other day, this bundle of products has some simply gorgeous die cuts and images. For this particular card, I decided to go with the Night of Navy and White color combo. This is one of my favorite color combos for making elegant Christmas cards.
To make this card, start with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp a little Christmas sentiment in the upper right hand corner of the white cardstock. Grab the Softly Falling embossing folder and embossing the entire lower part of the white cardstock by positioning the edge of the embossing folder just under the sentiment. You will only emboss the cardstock that is inside the folder. Run a piece of silver glimmer ribbon across the top, just under the sentiment. Using your Big Shot (or other) embossing machine, cut out a few stars with the coordinating dies found in the bundle and adhere them to your card front with glue dots. For the finishing touch, embellish with a few rhinestones!
