Pop of Pink

Hello Stampin’ Friends! Need a quick and simple card idea? Well I may have just what you are looking for!  This particular card was created with the patterned paper from the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Grateful Bunch stamp set. And they really work well together! Now you can use any patterned papers and colors to re-create this card. Get creative with it!

To make this card, start with a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock for the base of your card. Randomly stamp a few of the large flowers onto the card front using melon mambo ink. Note: Using the same color ink as the cardstock provides you with a subtle background of stamped images on your card. Cut a 1 x 5-1/4 inch piece of one of the black patterns from the Pop of Pink DSP and adhere it to the left side of the card front. Cut a 5 x 1-1/2 inch piece of one of the pink patterns of DSP. Cut a 5-1/4 x 1-3/4 inch piece of basic black cardstock. Adhere these two pieces together; tuck a piece of a doily behind the black cardstock and secure it to your card front as shown. Be sure to overlap this piece onto the small black strip of DSP.   Punch out a 2 inch circle from black cardstock and a 1-3/4 inch circle from a piece of white cardstock. Stamp a little sentiment on the white circle. Adhere the 2 circles together and secure to your card front, as shown, with a few dimensionals. For the finishing touch, embellish with a little flower stamped from the Grateful Bunch set and punched out with the coordinating Blossom Punch. Enjoy!
