Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Today I have a bunch of fun projects to share with you! These projects showcase the new Cookie Cutter Christmas stamps and the Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP). I was busy playing around with some of the new holiday products this past weekend and ended up with a bunch of scrap pieces of DSP leftover. So, of course, I had to create a bunch of cards to use up those scraps! The Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle was a perfect fit with the DSP. I love the image of the little gingerbread man! Can you tell? Let’s take a closer look at these cards…
Start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card. Cut the middle piece of DSP at 2 x 5 inches and matte it out on a 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 inch piece of early espresso cardstock. The outer pieces of the gumdrop DSP measure approximately 1-1/2 x 5-1/4; secure those pieces to the outer edges of the crumb cake cardstock as shown. Then secure the middle piece overlapping the gumdrops. Stamp a little gingerbread man using early espresso ink and punch it out with the coordinating cookie cutter punch. Stamp your Christmas sentiment on the inside of the card.
The rest of the cards are pretty easy to re-create as well. Just use crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card and add a few extras like doilies, circle shapes and/or banners. I simply used up what ever scraps I had. Enjoy!
