Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I have a cute little card showcasing the new Sweet Cupcakes stamp set! This adorable stamp set is allows you to add depth and detail to the cupcakes using a “Two-Step” stamping process. The stamp set is a photopolymer, so it’s clear all the way through, which allows you to stamp the images directly on top of one another to create some very detailed images. These are fast becoming my favorite type of stamp sets to use! As an added bonus, this stamp set comes in a bundle with a set of thinlits! Super fun!
To create this card, start with a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp a little sentiment in the upper left hand corner of the card using soft suede ink. On a scrap piece of white cardstock, stamp the cupcake bottoms using crumb cake ink and the #3 stamp image in the set; then stamp the #2 cupcake bottom image directly on top of the crumb cake one using soft suede ink. This will add more detail and give the cupcake bottom a two-tone look. For the swirly cupcake tops, simple use image #2 and stamp one in So Saffron, one in Flirty Flamingo and one in Pool Party ink. Adhere all of the cupcakes to the white cardstock as shown. Then simply cut all of the cupcake pieces out with the coordinating thinlits! For the finishing touch, cut out the word “Sweet” using gold glimmer paper and one of the thinlits from the bundle. Enjoy!
