So today I want to share one of the little projects we made at the event. This particular project showcases the new Painter’s Palette Stamp Set which has some fun brushstroke and splatter images to play with. These type of images allow you to add a variety of different colors to your project not to mention the countless number of designs you can create! The possibilities are endless!
Plus, this card also showcases 4 out of the 5 new 2016-2017 In Colors: Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo! You can get all of the yummy new 2016-2017 In Colors by visiting my Stampin’ Up! store at www.lynndunn.stampinup.net
To make this card, start with a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. If you were able to get your hands on the Curvy Corner Trio Punch, before it retired, then use it to round the corners. Stamp the painter’s easel in the center of your white cardstock using memento black ink. Randomly stamp the brushstroke and splatter images all over the white cardstock; be sure to alternate colors. Cut a 2 x 2 inch piece of sweet sugarplum cardstock and a 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp one of the sentiments from the Painter’s Palette Stamp Set on the 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and adhere it to the 2 x 2 inch piece of sweet sugarplum cardstock; adhere to the center of the patient’s easel with dimensionals. That’s it! Enjoy!
