Good Morning! Thanks for stopping by today! I have a fun little project created with the Botanical Blooms stamp set. I have been so busy using the botanical framelits that I haven’t even cracked open this stamp set! And I definitely can’t have an unused stamp set in my collection! 🙂 Besides, there a some great flowery images in this set so I decided to use them to create a pretty little backdrop for this project. This project is easier than it looks…
Start with a piece of old olive cardstock for the case of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Randomly stamp some of the fun images from the botanical blooms stamp set all over the white cardstock. Use colors such as old olive, blushing bride, so saffron, calypso coral, and crumb cake classic stampin’ pads. Once you have finished stamping all of your images, tear the ends of the white cardstock as shown. Sponge some crumb cake ink all over the torn ends and edges of the white cardstock. Sponge some pink pirouette all over the white cardstock. Grab a few scrap pieces of patterned paper and cut them to 1 x 4 inches; adhere these pieces to each end on the front of your card on the old olive cardstock. Adhere the torn cardstock, with your stamped images, to the front of the card so that it overlaps a bit onto the patterned papers. Stamp a little sentiment on a scrap piece of white cardstock using crumb cake ink. Punch out the sentiment with the oval punch (or framelits) and sponge a bit of crumb cake ink around the edges. Adhere to your card front with dimensionals. For the finishing touch, add a few little so saffron flowers embellished with pearls! Enjoy!
