Good Morning! Today I have a project to share with all of you that showcases some of the beautiful images that you can create using a 3-step stamping process. This particular project was created with the rose images from the Picture Perfect stamp set. There are 3 different stamps that are used to create just one rose! Each image has their own unique markings and are designed to allow you to change colors and add more detail to your finished image. You simply stamp each of the images directly on top of one another; an overlay of sorts. And the finished product is simply gorgeous especially when you see it in person! So let’s take a look at how to make this card.
Start with a piece of cherry cobbler cardstock for the base of your card and emboss it with the softly falling embossing folder. Cut a 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch piece of basic black and adhere it across the center of the card front as shown. Cut a 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 inch piece of whisper white cardstock; punch out the corner with the curvy trio corner punch. Stamp the rose images in the following order: Image #1 Real Red, Image #2 Cherry Cobbler, Image #3 Basic Black or Memento Black. Repeat this process for the second rose. For the leaves, I used old olive and basic black. I decided not to overlay the images for the leaves I just used the “stamp off” technique to give different shades of green to the leaves. The stamp off technique means that you stamp the image and then stamp it again without re-inking it. Once you have finished stamping your images, tuck half of a paper doily behind the white cardstock and adhere the entire piece to the center of your card! Enjoy!
