Good Morning! Well I have been busy playing around in my crafting room this past weekend! I haven’t played around with the love blossoms product suite in awhile so I decided it was about time to create with it again! This particular card showcases some fun flowery images from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set as well as some of the pretty patterned papers from the love blossoms pack. So I have good news and bad news…the good news is that this stamp set carried over into the new catalog! WooHoo! Now the bad news…the pretty designer paper will retire at the end of this month! So be sure to check out the retirement sale before all of those goodies are gone!
So let’s talk about how to make this adorable little card! Start with a piece of rose red cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Randomly stamp the little flower image, from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set, diagonally across the card. First stamp the image using rose red ink and then stamp the image using blushing bride ink. For a little extra touch, stamp the splatter image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set across the sets of flowers using sahara sand ink. Cut a 1 x 4 inch piece of the flowery patterned paper. Cut a 1 1/4 inch piece of one of the rose red patterns and adhere it behind the flowery one. Adhere the entire piece across the center of your card as shown. Stamp the little friend sentiment just above the designer paper. For the finishing touch, punch out a little elegant butterfly and embellish it with a few pearls. Enjoy!
