A Nice Cuppa for Mom

a nice cuppa and timeless texturesGood Morning!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Today I have a fun little card idea for Mom! It’s a super Birthday card idea but you can also use this idea for Mother’s Day which is right around the corner!  It showcases a fun product bundle from the Have a Cuppa product suite along with the Timeless Textures stamp set.  As you know I love the look of vintage, so when you combine the little tea set stamps and framelits, along with the Timeless Texture images, you really get a fun vintage style card. So let’s take a look at how to make this card.

Start with a piece of whisper white card stock for the base of your card. Stamp the long texture image about 1 inch up from the bottom of the your card front, as shown, using crumb cake ink. Cut a 1 x 4 1/4 inch piece of the yellow paper from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper (DSP) Pack and adhere it to the bottom of the card front so the textured image shows above it. Grab some of the other images, such as the flourish, splatter and cup rings, from the Timeless Texture stamp set. Randomly stamp the images on the card front using so saffron and soft sky ink. Stamp the little tea cup on a scrap piece of paper using soft sky ink and cut out the image with the coordinating framelit. Stamp “Worlds Best Mother” on the tea cup using crumb cake ink.  Cut a three hearts out of white card stock and adhere them to the card with a few glue dots. Just a little tip…adhere the hearts in such a way that it gives the appears of “steam” coming from the cup.  That’s it!  Enjoy and thanks for visiting me today!
