This little Easter Lamb is making it’s way all over social media! It is such an adorable little image so I can definitely see why! My grandson just loves this little stamp. This is the first stamp he looks for every time he comes over to play in my craft room. 🙂 You might recall the Easter Lamb post I made earlier this month that showcased this image. The previous project was very similar to this one, the only difference is that I created a whole new card with the little oval I had left over when I cut out the “frame” for the other project. I love it when I can use up my scraps!
For this card, I simply used the colors and stamp sets to created the egg. Grab the following ink pad colors: Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Soft Sky and Sahara Sand. These soft subtle colors are perfect for Easter cards. You can make the Easter Lamb image stand out a bit more simply by using a darker gray color like Smoky Slate. Start by embossing your card front with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. Stamp the “swoosh” images across the oval using the 3 different colors as shown; then stamp the Easter Lamb using your favorite gray colors. For the finishing touch, embellish the bottom of the “egg” with a few flowers and some pearls!
Thanks so much for visiting me today! Enjoy!
