Easter Lamb

easter lamb watermelon wonderStill looking for Easter card ideas? Well I have another fun idea for you today!  This card showcases the adorable little Easter Lamb stamp and some non-traditional Easter colors. This particular color combo idea came from the colors in the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (DSP). There are a bit brighter than the traditional pastels but they sure make a cute little Easter card!

To make this card, start with a piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and secure some Watermelon Wonder Dotted lace trim to the left hand side. Adhere a half of a paper doily to the white cardstock so that it overlaps onto the  lace trim. Cut a 3 x 5 1/4 inch piece of one of the patterned papers from the Birthday Bouquet DSP pack and adhere it to the right side of your card; be sure to overlap the DSP onto the doily and the lace trim. Cut a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 piece of whisper white cardstock, a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch piece of mint macaron cardstock and a 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 inch piece of watermelon wonder cardstock. Stamp the Easter Lamb on the white cardstock using black ink. Sponge a bit of blushing bride ink on the lamb and mint macaron ink on the grass below the lamb. Adhere all of the pieces together as shown and secure to your card front with dimensionals. Enjoy!
