Easter Lamb

easter lamb and work of art Easter is right around the corner! Can you believe it?  It kind of snuck up on me this year 🙂  Well today I have a fun little Easter card idea to share with you that was inspired by several pins on Pinterest.  If you have been surfing through Pinterest looking for cards idea you probably have seen a few different projects showcasing an Easter Egg created with the oval framelits and the Work of Art stamp set. This particular project takes the “egg” concept with a little twist.

To make this card, start with a piece of soft sky cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss the front of the card with the softly falling embossing folder. Cut a 3 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Grab your framelits and cut out one of the larger ovals in the center of the white cardstock. Decorate the corners of the white cardstock by using the fancy little design from the Curvy Corner Trio Punch. Cut a another piece of white cardstock to 3 x 4. Stamp the long “swoosh” images from the Work of Art stamp set across the 3 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock alternating the following colors:  pink pirouette, so saffron and soft sky.  Adhere this piece behind the oval piece so that your stamped images are centered within the oval. Stamp the Easter Lamb image right over the top of colored egg using sahara sand ink (be sure to stay inside the oval frame when stamping the lamb image). Adhere to the card front with dimensionals and enjoy!
