Good Morning! Today I have a super fun masculine card design to share with you. Each month I strive to design at least one masculine style card for my in person classes. I hope you enjoy it! To make this card, start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card. The neutral colors are the best for creating vintage style cards. Cut a 3 x 5 1/4 inch piece of the Typeset Designer Paper (DSP). Randomly stamp the antique card image from the Guy Greetings stamp set all over the DSP using soft suede ink. Sponge a bit of crumb cake ink all over the DSP to give it a “worn” or antiqued look. Adhere the DSP to lower part of your card front. Cut a 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock. Now I used a retired notebook punch for the top of the cardstock; if you don’t have the punch you can leave the top straight or tear it. After punching the top, tear the bottom of the vanilla cardstock and sponge some crumb cake ink all over the edges. Wrap some linen thread around the vanilla cardstock and secure it in the back. Punch 2 holes in the vanilla cardstock, as shown, and fasten a few antique brads. Adhere the entire vanilla piece to the top of your card, overlapping the DSP. Stamp the little happy birthday sentiment on a scrap piece of paper and punch it out with the washi label punch. Adhere this in between the brads as shown. For the finishing touch, stamp the “to a classic” sentiment on a piece of 3/4 inch wide vanilla cardstock; snip the ends, cutting one of the ends into a banner, and sponge it with a bit of crumb cake ink. Enjoy!
