Good Morning! Today I have a pretty little project to share which showcases the new blushing bride glimmer paper. The picture doesn’t really do justice to this glimmer paper…but trust me, it is absolutely stunning in person! And you will love how the glimmer paper looks when its cut out with the bloomin heart die. So let me tell you how to make this card,
Start with a piece of smoky slate cardstock for the base of this card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of blushing bride cardstock and a 5 x 3 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Emboss the top part of the white cardstock with the softly falling embossing folder. Stamp a little sentiment on the bottom of the white cardstock using smoky slate ink. Run a piece of satin ribbon across the white cardstock (between the embossing and the sentiment); then add a piece of the venetian crochet trim on top of the satin ribbon. Tuck the ends of the ribbon behind the white cardstock; adhere this white piece to the blushing cardstock; then adhere to the smoky slate card front. For the finishing touch, cut out a bloomin’ heart using a piece of the blushing bride glimmer paper. I recommend using the precision base plate to cut out the heart; you should run the die through the big shot at least 3 times to ensure it cuts all the way through. Once you have the heart image cut out, use the big shot die brush to clear out all of the little pieces and adhere it to the top part of your card. Enjoy!
