The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult times of our lives. Sympathy cards are not always the easiest type of card to create but they can certainly send a powerful message. I tend to use very soft, subtle colors when creating sympathy cards as they deliver a soothing and comforting message. This particular card does just that by using 2 colors: very vanilla and sahara sand. To make this card, start with a piece of very vanilla cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of one of the small patterns in the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Cut a large very vanilla rose image uisng the Rose Garden Thinlit set and adhere it over your DSP as shown. Using images from the Rose Wonder stamp set, stamp a sympathy sentiment in sahara sand ink and cut out the image with the coordinating thinlit. Add a few bitty butterflies and embellish them with some pearls.
